Ori Allon

Ori Allon - Founder & CEO

Ori founded Julpan in 2010 and is currently Chairman and CEO. Previously, Google acquired his patented thesis work called Orion. During his time there, he led a search quality team that integrated the Orion technology and algorithms with the Google search engine. Ori earned his PhD in computer science at University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.


Ugo Di Girolamo

Ugo Di Girolamo - Infrastructure Lead

Ugo spends most of his time thinking about the best ways to build scalable, reliable and easily extensible systems - always with the underlying algorithms in mind. Before Julpan Ugo gained a lot experience in architecting and implementing high performance applications at Google - where he worked in the Infrastructure team and in the Search Quality team - and before that at GE Homeland Security. Ugo holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from University "La Sapienza" of Rome.


Daniel Loreto

Daniel Loreto - Lead Product Engineer

Before Julpan, Daniel worked for four years at the Google New York office where he was a Tech Lead in the Search Quality team. While at Google he co-founded the Structured Data group, made significant contributions to Google Book Search, Search Infrastructure and Search Quality and filed over 6 patents in the areas of Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. He holds a Master and two Bachelors from MIT where he received over 5 awards for academic excellence.


Dave Landau

Dave Landau - Pool Champion

Dave created and ran Google's chat support system which earned him a prestigious engineering award and garnered praise from no-less than Larry Page who suggested it was "how all of Google should do support." Dave was also awarded Google's highest internal accolade, an Executive Management Group award, for his work on the 2010 Google cyber attack. Prior to this, Dave worked at Telstra, and Pandemic Solutions, a consulting firm he co-founded.


Adam Schuck

Adam Schuck - Tech Lead & Architect

Prior to Julpan, Adam was the Technical Lead of the Google Wave client, having co-founded Google Wave. He also worked on Google Maps, having co-created Mapplets, and drove the roadmaps of Chrome, Google Web Toolkit and Selenium. Adam received the University Medal for his BSc (Honours) in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales.
